This project begins with a documentary that explores how fashion has been deeply intertwined with our lives for centuries and questions the impact of today’s beauty standards created by the fashion industry. These standards, often built around the filtered and retouched images of models and celebrities, are widely perceived as realistic and attainable — yet they are far from reality.
